Visual site upgrade

The #UT1 website

As you can see, the whole site has now been visually enhanced! [Zug]Mikus has taken the time to redesign the website with me! We have designed each graphic ourselves by hand and we're enhancing each thing bit by bit!

The advantage that we have with this website is that unlike clanbase, and esreality we cater for only ONE game... so we can make this site feel as much like Unreal Tournament as we want!

I have also added a whole bunch of Unreal Tournament 1999 smilies to the forum which you can check out here.

Expect more visual updates on the site as the week goes by!

#UT1: The story of the #UT1 1337gear cup.

Once upon a time, there was a bright sunny day where everything was merry.

I know all you players out there who competed in the 1337gear cup are right now in a state of WTF? or have simply quit UT. or stopped caring.

Today I saw Rastaman (the head of 1337gear) and it made me angry again... angry like i was when he told me he wasn't sponsoring anymore. No he didn't say this because the cup went downhill, the cup went downhill after he had said this. But i will explain.

The 1on1 cup has been delayed waiting for word from sponsor to start! The group stages will be ran VERY fast, the groups have been made and are ready to go live, we are hoping that you guys can play 5 games in a week to get the group stage out of the way.

we really owe a big thanks to our longest running sponsor wfgaming... who have, since we started commited to giving us our 10 man UT server, with it never going down and always being there for pickups free of charge. Not only do they still give us this to this day, but they also are saying they want nothing in return! No adverts, no banner adverts nothing! I keep them on here out of principle however. The guy we want to thank is Webber. :)

Just to let you know, the wFgaming server has recently been updated to now work with TIW, if you have any other queries etc please pm me and i'll give you info! Happy pickuping!

home: User levels

When users post comments, recommend the site, post forum posts they get points. Having a certain amount of points upgrades your status on the website.

If you contribute alot you will get ALOT of points, more points are earnt for different activities... for example a comment gives you 1 point, where as a new post gives you 2 points, and a submission (such as download) gives you 5 points.

After getting a certain amount of points you will get +v in #UT1 as you've been a great contribution to the community. You also can work your way up to being an UBERGOD...

Keep on posting and submitting and see what rank you can get too. Part of the fun is seeing wat the next rank is! :)

I've put this theme on a phpnuke site, and i will be putting some rather 1337 gaming and community modules on in the next few weeks.... For the sponsors out there, the banner in the top right is real sweet, you will be able to log in and track how many clicks your banner has had, and how many impressions!! so a great feature for you guys.
