Powah UT1 1on1 cup!

an invite only cup happend recently... a 1 day fast cup with players such as alea and ohan playing! It was invite only to fill most of the slots!

The top 3 players each recieved a shiney +v in #ut1

2nd and 3rd: Alea and OG|lz^

New clan in town!

Theres a new clan started in UT just a couple of days ago! The clan is called Summit

summit means: A conference or meeting of high-level leaders, usually called to shape a program of action. or top of a mountain

The tag is .^. (a mountain with a summit at the top)

And the players are,

4on4on4on4 CUP match! :D

And so we come to our 4on4on4on4 christmas #ut1 Cup! The arguably top 4 clans in europe at the moment coming together to play a 4on4on4on4 all on the server at the same time... to see who's best at this fast furious and action packed game type!

I will start by introducing the 4 clans!

sas
sas are a fearsome crew of UT player, they are favorites for the clanbase open / euro cups every time they come up. They are aka team royalty, more and kdl... they have changed their tag more than a hypocondriact changes his underware! They are the top dogs in the UT scene at the moment!
Star Player: sas Wolv

xTp
xTp are a bunch of nasty low lifes in the UT scene, these guys love to cause pain and agony to all other UT players out there by cruely slaughtering them. xTp are second favorites for all cups and leagues involving TDM, they are harsh competitors which win nearly all of the time.

aka scythe, this clan is one of the underdogs in the most recent clanbase TDM cup, although they prove to be one of the top teams making it all the way to the semi finals! They have a record of amazing players and winning various leagues.

oS?!?!?! WTF these guys arn't good! Is the initial concern amoung the 4on4on4on4 spectaitors... oh how they would be wrong! oS recently recruited all of the past top pyro TDM players! pyro lock and pyro levi and even *.UCS from afar are among the team! They are definately the #1 underdogs in this game, and as you will see, they do hold their own!

Prize cup

General UT

over my time being op at #UT1 I've had various people pm me asking for me to start a cup where clans pay to enter for an overall prize fund!

I think its a kewl idea but i've never really known how great the interest is.

The prize fund would be broken down by the clans which enter, for example if 60 clans entered at €5 each there would be a €300 prize fund...

€150 for first
€100 for second
€50 for third

or small segaments broken down to give clans their money back up to 8th place!

Admins could also get paid per match admined which would mean a higher quality cup... and also people could earn say €1 from every clan which they get to sign up, so we could get lots of signups!

anyway, what do you think? cast your vote on the right, and if theres a high responce maybe i'll do it. If theres not a No which describes your reason please leave a comment saying why. Let other people know about the poll too.

Truffs UT Mod Birthday Party - 17 October 2004

Mez is back to the UT scene. He's an old player from forma clan SRz. He's currently looking for a new clan out there which are in the cb TDM cup, as he's bored of the free for all scene.
